About Episode
Lucy Cooper has been an entrepreneur, an investor, and is now an intrapreneur within a large corporation, in her role as Head of Innovation Europe at Accenture. Lucy represents a role that faces similar challenges to a ‘traditional founder’, particularly when it comes to mental health. Lucy’s mental health was triggered by a Covid-19 infection in December 2020, but in reality, her mental health struggles go back much further.
Specific topics covered in this episode include:
Anxiety, depression and insomnia;
How early life experiences should be recognised as trauma;
The role of therapy and the importance of vocalising feelings.
In addition, we discuss the following questions:
How do you deal with an overwhelming fear of losing the people you love?
How do you recognise the signs that could lead to a breakdown?
What strategies can you put in place to keep mentally healthy?
