There’s a phrase in Urdu, which doesn’t quite translate into English, 'koi chaan nhai', loosely meaning ‘to not know peace’.

An entrepreneur knows no peace. They live with an unquenchable thirst to innovate, to build, to solve, to create.

A state of being that Nadeem Shaikh knows too well.

Nadeem has built a colourful career as a founder, investor, CEO, led social impact startups, built commercial ventures. An entrepreneurial powerhouse.

On his journey, he saw first hand the paradox that founders are expected to work in.

Entrepreneurs account for 8% of the world's population. Our societies are built on their innovation, and stand on the shoulders of their leadership. Yet we’ve normalised depression, anxiety and loneliness as symptoms of entrepreneurship. The system is unsustainable.

Nadeem set out to shift the paradigm, to be a vulnerable leader is to be a strong leader.
